Terms

Short version: the reader is free to use. Pro is an optional one-time purchase. Please be fair, and so will we.

Using the free app

• Free to use on as many of your Macs as you like.
• Use it anywhere: at home, at school or at work.
• Share the link: you can share the official download link with anyone.

Please don't:

• sell the app, or charge others for it,
• share changed copies as if they were ours, or
• use it to break the law or harm others.

Pro

• One-time payment. No subscription. You pay once and keep what you bought.
• For you. A Pro licence is for one person, on their own Macs. Schools and organisations: please ask us for a group licence.
• Price: $4.99, or ₹499 in India. The checkout shows the final price with any tax.
• Can't afford it? Ask, and we'll give you Pro free.

Pro is sold by a payment company (a "merchant of record"). Their terms also apply to the payment.

Pro features marked "planned" on our website are plans, not promises. When you buy Pro, you get the Pro features that exist at that time.

The beta

The beta is test software. It may have bugs, change, or stop working.

It is free. Please tell us when something goes wrong.

No guarantees

We work hard to make the app good and safe. But it comes "as is", without guarantees.

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses from using it. If you paid for Pro, our total responsibility is at most what you paid.

Not a medical tool

The app reads text aloud. It does not test for, diagnose or treat dyslexia or any other condition.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will say so on this page and change the date at the top. The free reader stays free.

Law

These terms follow the laws of India.
